Burn Brae's highly qualified staff members are experts at dealing with children as well as being expert in their own field. They are a trained and mature staff of outstanding teaching and performing professionals who are second to none. 85% of our staff are professional teachers! We have a camper staff ratio that averages 5:1, even lower in pre-majors! We care about each individual child and this caring is always evident in the relationship between campers and staff. Camper Advocates in the form of junior and senior camp advisors are on premisis all day. Besides offering a supportive instructional environment, a no teasing/bullying policy is enforced where absolutely no physical or emotional agression is tolerated. Burn Brae is a warm, nurturing, non-competitive environment in which children can truly feel at home.
