Pre-Majors
Pre-majors at Burn Brae are ages
3 to 6. Instead of being on an individualized schedule card, each group travels
together to their specialty classes. There are three different groups of pre-majors,
divided by age. Each group has a certified teacher, assistant, and one apprentice.
Group sizes average about fifteen, thereby giving a 1 to 5 camper/staff ratio.
A typical pre-major weekly schedule will include Art, Dance, Swimming, Sports,
Recorder, Violin, Computer, Martial Arts, Cooking, Theater, Science and Nature,
Learning and Reading Fun, Singing, Circus Arts and Magic, Ceramics and Crafts.
Full-day and half-day pre-major schedule options are offered.
