What a wonderful first week of camp! Friendships are being formed, campers are learning many new and interesting skills, and we are becoming a Burn Brae Family once again, this 34th summer of fun and excitement!
House Keeping and Important Dates
Safety first: Campers must come to camp with sneakers on every day! Please pack flip flops or sandals to wear to and from the pool.
Please make sure that your camper has a bathing suit with them every day. We are anticipating some very hot days, and therefore it is important that our campers stay cool.
Please remember to send your child with sunscreen so they can reapply it throughout the day. If your child needs assistance, please let us know.
What’s for Lunch? Not sure what to pack your camper for lunch? Consider Smart Lunch. A convenient, online lunch ordering program that caters to busy families needing a variety of options and convenience. You can choose healthy and allergy friendly foods. Check them out at www.smartlunches.com
Tuesday, June 30th: Jr. Bring a friend to camp and after camp dance and pizza party (Ages 7-9). See the website for more information and permission slips. Step-Up campers are included.
Wednesday, July 1st: Sr. Trip to the Ambler Movie Theater in the am (Ages 10+, including Teen Quest Campers). No money or permission slip is needed for this trip.
Thursday, July 2nd: Patriotic Day! Wear Red, White, and Blue.
Friday, July 3rd: Camp will be closed for Independence Day
Reminders
Can’t Get Enough of Burn Brae? Campers are having a blast! Want to stay longer than planned? You can extend your child’s stay up through August 28, and can choose nonconsecutive weeks. For those who use camp transportation, contact us as soon as possible, as space is limited in camp vehicles. Parties and Outings at Burn Brae: Let us cater your child’s next birthday party. Let us know your child’s interests and we will build a party that is right for them. We even do pool parties on the weekends! We also do corporate picnics, family outing, scout parties, and more! See the website for more information.
